Proposed Global Picketline
Thanks to the support of the Socialist Party of Malaysia (PSM), we organised a workshop to discuss a Global Picketline in the Garments industry. This was held in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday 8 December, as part of the Socialism 2018 conference.
The campaign was proposed by comrades in the Philippines, in consultation with comrades in Bangladesh and Malaysia.
The workshop was very successful, with all participants expressing support for the idea of a Garments Global Picketline, and with many activists volunteering to support campaign activities.
